VibeCC is not a proxy. It is not a wrapper. It is an operator-grade control plane — the same category as an API gateway, a service mesh, or a secrets manager. It sits in your AI traffic path to enforce policy, route intelligently, and surface truth.
We built it because every team running coding agents eventually builds a fragile version of this themselves — ad-hoc retry logic, spreadsheet cost tracking, custom prompt versioning. We made that infrastructure first-class.

The AI ecosystem is fragmented and will stay that way. VibeCC normalizes every provider behind one stable API surface — your code never changes when the model landscape does.
Governance without friction
Security and compliance controls should be invisible to developers. Routing policies, spend caps, RBAC, and audit logs are configured once, enforced automatically, and never require SDK changes.
