Fair Use Policy
VibeCC routes AI coding requests at operator scale. This policy defines acceptable use.
Allowed Uses
- Routing AI coding assistant requests (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Continue, Codex, etc.)
- Team-wide model access management and budget enforcement
- Multi-provider redundancy and failover for coding workflows
- PromptOps: versioned system prompt management for development teams
Prohibited Uses
Infrastructure abuse:
- Bypassing provider rate limits via excessive workspace proliferation
- Reverse-engineering provider system prompts or internal routing logic
- Automated scraping of pricing or routing metadata
Content:
- Requests that violate AI provider acceptable use policies (harmful content, malware generation, etc.)
- Using VibeCC to circumvent content moderation on AI models
Commercial:
- Reselling raw API access as a standalone service
- White-labeling VibeCC without a commercial license
Rate Limits
Default limits per workspace:
- 1,000 requests/minute (Relay)
- 100,000 requests/day
Higher limits available on Team and Enterprise plans.
Enforcement
Violations may result in:
- Rate throttling (first offense)
- Account suspension (repeated violations)
- Permanent termination (severe violations)
We provide advance notice where possible.
